The penitential period which in the Christian context is known as Lent is connected to the evangelical episode in which Jesus, having received baptism, retreats into the desert for forty days, undergoing the temptations of the devil and preparing for what he will be called to do.
Don’t we feel the need to know who we are? But how do we satisfy it if not by stripping ourselves of everything we would like, or fear, or feel we should be? But what remains at that point? But what if, setting off into that unknown land, we finally found ourselves?
